Stephen has a degree in Theatre from Western Michigan University. He is a former Associate Artistic Director of SAK Comedy Lab in Orlando, Florida and has had the pleasure of teaching hundreds of classes in the SAK U program. Stephen is also a founder and Artistic Director of OFFSIDES Improv which performed regularly in Central Florida for many years. While in Florida, he taught levels 1-3 at SAK Comedy Lab and helped coach their student ensembles. He also worked with Blue Man Group and performed at both Universal Studios Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.

A graduate of both the iO training program and Second City Conservatory program Stephen spent a decade in Chicago honing his craft. In Chicago Stephen performed with the Harold team Bunk 7, as well as the independent teams Down! Set! Go!, Good Carl, and The Improvised Theatre Company where he performed in an improvised psychological thriller. Stephen was also a member of the Under the Gun ensemble where he directed/produced/performed in The Improvised Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson, Cutthroat Improv (aka Improv Sabotage) and Game, Set, Match.

Stephen is an improvisor, facilitator, host and theatre creative who has been a student and practitioner of improv since the late 90’s and has performed in Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, Louisville, Philadelphia, Chicago, NYC, and other cities.
