Some years ago some colleagues and I were sat down to create an objective (or mostly objective) rubric for evaluating our ensembles. This is (with some small edits) what we came up with. If you find yourself in need of a similar instrument, you can use this or use it as springboard to forming your own.

Our Methodology: Everyone on the leadership team filled this form out for all the performers. We then got together to compare notes as well as determine the average scores based on the entire team’s input.
